Purchasing
The clothesline trades in Australian Dollars only. Payment is accepted through Paypal using your credit card. You do NOT need a Paypal account to purchase through the clothesline.
Payment can also be made via Direct Debit at the checkout to our nominated bank account.
The clothesline uses a secure shopping cart system where all of your personal details are kept private and confidential.
We run an SSL Certificate (Secure Socket Layering) which is the industry standard encryption technology that ensures your personal information and credit card details are transmitted via a secured data transmission.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Delivery
Due to the exclusive nature of many of the clothesline’s products, delivery times may vary.
You will be contacted via email once your order is despatched. Most orders will be despatched within 7-10 days and delivered via Australia Post. Please expect 2-4 days turn around once your order is despatched.
If there are any unexpected delays, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Gift Wrapping
Want hassle free gift shopping?? We will happily gift wrap your purchase for FREE and even send the parcel to an alternate address!! How easy is that? Just nominate which products you would like wrapped, whether the gift is for a boy or a girl and note your personalised message for the small gift card in the checkout comments box.

Returns
We happily exchange or refund should you have any problems with a product or the size of a garment. Returned products must be 100% new and unworn/unused, with tags still attached. Please contact us via email within 10 days of receiving your order so that we can address your request as quickly as possible.
To return or exchange an item, please send an email to andrea@theclothesline.com.au and provide the following information:
- Your name and contact details
- Product name or description
- Receipt number
- Reason for return/exchange
You will then receive an email detailing the clothesline’s return address and ‘return code’. Please clearly mark the return code on the back of the parcel being returned to the clothesline.
Please note:
- The clothesline reserves the right to refuse the return of any item not in its original condition.
- The clothesline takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of parcels being posted or returned by post.
- In the event of an exchange, if the replacement item is priced higher than the original item, the difference is to be paid by the customer, in addition to postage costs.
Damaged Goods
We take great care at the clothesline to package products to minimise the chance of postal damage. The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the parcel is delivered to Australia Post.
